Could someone who is good at basic math do well in accounting?
Tuesday, August 31st, 2010I am not good at geometry or really advanced math, but I feel like I am fine with business math or basic algebra. I think I would like accounting, but if the math is extremely difficult then I don’t know if I could handle it. This is kind of a big decision for me since I would have to change my major and pretty much start over to do it. Also, can you find a job with just an associate degree in accounting?

Friday, August 20th, 2010I’m trying to decide my major. I think I would really like to do geography and possibly specialize in GIS. What *other* jobs could I pursue with a geography degree besides GIS and do you think with this major that I would be able to find a job easily in this economy? I only have one shot to pick the right schooling, I really don’t want to mess it up and not be able to find a job after graduating. I plan on moving to Buffalo, NY. Thank you!

I know I’d have to pass with at least a 90%. What is training lilke, is everything done in groups or do you handle certain proceedures alone in front of trainers?
