Hey,
I commute to LGA at least three times a week and from there I have to head on over to JFK.
Don’t take a helicopter. That is just too stuipdly expensive. There is a shuttle line that runs between the two airports. The cost of the shuttle is approximately $20 per person. If you take a cab, the approximate fare would be about $35.
However, if you want to know almost exactly how much the fare would be without traffic, go to http://www.nyccabfare.com and type in LGA to JFK. It’s powered by goole maps, and it will show you the suggested route and an approximate fare.
Take a cab.
you can charter a helicopter.
I think there is a shuttle.
NO… unfortunately, LGA is a PAIN IN THE A$$ TO GET IN AND OUT OF!
You would probably need to take a cab… make sure you have lots and lots of time.
Personally, I would rather have a layover at a nice airport somewhere in the US then fly into LGA then try to get to JFK.
I am surprised there are no direct flights to JFK out of Savannah. If you are driving to the airport anyway, you could drive to Jacksonville (2 hours) or Charleston, SC… I know for sure both of those airports have direct flights to JFK… because I have been on them.
The quickest way is to take a cab. It is not the cheapest, but would not be too costly either.
Will your airline be checking your luggage through to JFK? If so, I would contact the airline and see if they offer a shuttle service from La Guardia to JFK.
there is helicopter service from LGA to JFK
also there should be a bus or shuttle service as well
