Obama is like Michael Jackson in the 1980s. It dont matter if you’re black or white! Uniting people with his song "We are the world"! All nations and races coming together to sing the song! Millions flock just to see him and his white glove!
It felt good to be multicultural and openminded by supporting a nonwhite! Everyone wanted to be part of something popular.
Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Taylor and celebrities wanted to be a part of him. Everyone wanted to be a part of him.
By the way, where is he now?

Who is better Michael Jackson or Prince?
I know a lot of people will say MJ is better. I think so too. But each of them are absolute geniuses. Michael transcended music and entertainment with his dancing, singing, stage presense, and overall greatness. Prince is an avant-garde dynamo, who, like Michael, crosses over in several genres: R&B, pop, rock, jazz, techno, even some country. One advantage Prince has over Michael is his ability to play practically every instrument. Prince is a great entertainer, just not as great as Michael.

I’m not asking simply "What’s a good Michael Jackson song?" because all of them are incredible, but I’m asking "What is a good Michael Jackson song to sing?" One of his ballads preferrably as an adult singer, although I like to sing, "Who’s Loving You" too. One of his songs like "She’s Out of my Life."
One that would sound good acapella to sing for my musical auditions?

Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan’s prime were in the 80’s the 90’s.
Michael Jackson was the king of pop and Michael Jordan was the king of basketball.
The both share the same the same first name and same initials.
Could it be possible that the success of these two men in the same era, indirectly helped each other’s fame and success more than we realize?

In the very beginning of Michael Jackson’s "They Don’t Really Care About Us" (the Rio de Janerio version), a woman is heard saying something in a soft tone as if she were speaking to Michael ("Michael, no es-) before the chanting starts.

I am actually not trying to provoke a fight but I figure she is in the public eye and must have a staff around her so I am curious
How is Dr Laura saying the N word over and over again in a rant that was basically insulting a woman in an interracial marriage something that we should all think is perfectly fine
but at same time David Letterman making a joke about her oldest daughter who had a baby out of wedlock (I saw the episode the joke in no way was pointed at the young children) should be fired for his joke which did not include any swears or offensive terms
I just do not understand why one is ok and the other is not
Teekno > Actually yes she did say he should be fired
Barry Marx> I did..obviously you did not…I am not saying she called the woman a N-word but she was very offensive to this woman who called in with all the other crap that she spouted
expertgal> she also berated the woman for not liking the racial slurs being hurled at her by husband’s friends….and she was not fired. I see no difference here between Laura and David….people protested Dave but he did not quit…so i guess this is just a "Well she didn’t make fun of me so i will support her" type of thing
Txconservative> While I appreciate Laura’s idea that this is something we need to be able to talk about openly, and i agree, I also think Imus did not really do anything wrong….just stupid and I think we have the same thing here
mesham> So the older daughter was no longer in existance since she was not with Sarah? That seems really off the mark. The joke was not at all aimed at the younger daughter and anyone with an iota of decency can admit that. The younger daughter is who? No one..no one knows her name and she is basically unknown to the public so why would the joke be aimed at her and not the sexually active daughter?
Also big difference between HBO and network TV…and the usage which is why when Jon Stewert says Kike it is not the same as a KKK member saying it…this is human society 101
mesham > No i think you missed it by a wide margin but since you wish to metaphorically invest faster than light travel and go to the other side of the universe to miss the joke’s point entirely….that is up to you. I can only talk about reality and that fact that a joke about a sexually active daughter would have been a joke about the daughter who did have a kid out of wedlock AND became a public figure during Palin’s VP run combined with a govt official caught in a sexual scandal…it’s pretty clear as day
Teekno> I probably could if I had the ambition….but unless you are sending me a paycheck I don’t see the need. I do remember it but hey maybe she never personally said that in which case I am wrong. But if I am, and let’s assume i am…she still supports one person’s offensive speech will protesting another’s. Her right to be sure….but something I do find alarm with for someone who wanted to be VP and who gives major indicators she does intend to run for high office at some point

I’m a big fan of Michael Jackson and love his songs but bad at English!
What are 10 different rhetorical devices used in his songs. I know human nature has a lot.
Thanks for the help……………..I really appreciate it.
